Jakob H. Havsteen

Jakob H. Havsteen, CDI Global in Copenhagen, has been working with CDI’€™s core competences directly and indirectly for the last 15 years.
He is authorised Certified Adviser by Nasdaq/OMX on FirstNorth.

He has been running his own consultancy business specialising in business development and investment/pensions advice since 2001.

From 1994 to 2001 he was CEO of the Difko Group, one of Denmark’s largest suppliers of investment projects for public subscription in the area of shipping, offshore, drilling rigs, windmills, commercial property and shopping centres, etc.

As the senior manager for around 80 different investment projects in the form of limited partnership companies with up to 100,000 investors and a total investment value in the tens of billions of Danish kroner, Jakob H. Havsteen has a proven experience in setting up, buying and selling, turning around, managing and operating, as well as raising capital for, all sorts of different investment and business types. As board chairman or a director of a large number of companies, Jakob H. Havsteen is very experienced when it comes to directors€’ work.

The same applies to the performance of assignments in the financial sector, including setting up two stockbroking companies and the preparing work with creating a marketplace for small and mid cap companies.

From 1992 to 1994 Jakob H. Havsteen was CFO of AEG Dansk Aktieselskab, an electronics company owned by the Daimler Benz Group.

From 1986 to 1992 he was employed by Diners Club International A/S, for the last 4 years as CEO. These two posts in senior management gave him great international experience.

Jakob H. Havsteen is a qualified accountant and his academic background includes studying mechanical engineering, a Bachelor degree in Economics and a Commerce degree in Management Accounting.
